Our expertise has been developed over 25 years during which time Jonathan Nicholls, our head coach, and a team of experienced associates have worked on a range of leadership and organisational development projects with a number of large public and private sector organisations.
More than anything coaching is a relationship between the coach and the client. The more respect, collaboration, trust and openness, the more successful the relationship.
Our focus and aim through coaching is to improve, using evidence based techniques, the performance of the leaders we work with. Our coaching approach is cognitive and goal oriented. We actively engage in measuring the outcomes of the coaching relationship and find that our clients benefit from an understanding of the return they get from their coaching investment.
The coaching process
The relationship starts with a 2 hour "alignment" meeting where the coach and client explore issues that help to critically identify goals and aspirations. The length and frequency of the subsequent "coaching" sessions will be tailored to the specific client requirements, but typically these will consist of one hour meetings every one or two weeks.
